When you arrive at Ilderton Pet Hospital you can expect quality care in a warm and friendly environment.
We love to talk! Do you have a new puppy or kitten? We schedule a 60 minute appointment to ensure we address all of the questions you have at the start of this wonderful new adventure. Routine appointments are allotted 30 minutes to ensure we can give the necessary attention to detail.
When you check in with our front desk you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly and courteous team members, your pet will be weighed and ushered into an examination room. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit. A veterinarian will then meet you and your pet and spend some time talking with you to address your concerns, perform a comprehensive examination, recommend additional diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet’s individual care plan.
This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing. When the veterinary consultation is complete, our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.
Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
Depending on the reason for your visit, you may expect a follow-up call from one of our registered veterinary technicians to get an update on how your pet has been doing since their visit. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to address them with any of our team members.
