We want your visit to the Ilderton Pet Hospital to be the best veterinary experience you have ever had!  We’re all animal lovers here and we work hard to create a warm, welcoming and comfortable environment for you and your pet. Our team is trained in Fear Free techniques to keep the visit positive and enjoyable for everyone. 

Do you have a new puppy or kitten? We schedule a 30-minute complimentary phone call with one of our technicians ahead of your appointment. In this phone call, we will help to address any behavioural concerns or health questions and customize a wellness plan for your new pet. Our goal is to make sure we address all of the questions you have at the start of this wonderful new adventure.  

All of our appointments are allotted 30 minutes to ensure we can give the necessary attention to detail and provide thorough and top-notch care to our patients.

When you arrive at our hospital, you will be welcomed by one of our friendly and courteous team members, your pet will be weighed and you will ushered into an examination room. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit. A veterinarian will then meet you and your pet and spend some time speaking with you to address your concerns, perform a comprehensive examination, recommend additional diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet’s individual care plan. This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing. When the veterinary consultation is complete, our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.

Please Note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times when the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

Depending on the reason for your visit, you may expect a follow-up call from one of our team members to get an update on how your pet has been doing since their visit. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to address them with any of our team members.
